  • 7/26/11: Texas Man Allegedly Blackmailed Teen for Sex — Greater Houston RCFL is On the Case — A 19-year old Deer Park, Texas man faces one change of sexual abuse of a child for allegedly persuading a 14-year old girl to send photos of herself to him, then threatening to post them on the Internet if she didn’t have sex with him. The Greater Houston RCFL (GHRCFL) is providing digital forensics expertise to the Pasadena Police Department, a participating agency in the GHRCFL, who is leading the investigation.   • 4/27/11: Houston Sex Offender Convicted — The Greater Houston RCFL supported the successful prosecution of a Houston man who had more than 560 videos of child pornography on his home computer.

  • 07/13/09: Press Release  Newly Accredited Houston Lab Expands Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory Network - Washington, D.C. - The American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) accredited the Greater Houston Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (GHRCFL) in digital and multi media evidence.
